How do I arrange for homecare services?
- Simply call QHS to start your request or inquiry for homecare services. One of our professional patient care coordinators will walk you through the steps and create a plan of care based on your unique situation.
Can you send someone within 24 hours?
- Yes! One of our highly qualified caregivers can be at your home or facility, ready to serve, within 24 hours.
What happens if my caregiver gets sick?
- You can rely on QHS to coordinate back up care and make sure your needs are met.
Does QHS monitor my care?
- Yes. QHS assures quality through our continuous monitoring system. Our Registered Nurses perform assessments and supervisory visits at no cost to you. And your Patient Care Coordinator will stay in touch to make sure your caregiver is on time and performing according to the plan of care.
What if I’m displeased with my caregiver?
- We strive to hire caregivers who will help us exceed your expectations – people with character, integrity, experience and true dedication to patient care. If you’re unhappy with your caregiver, for whatever reason, we will assign a new one immediately.
Will you coordinate with my doctor?
- Yes. Your patient care coordinator will be the liaison with your doctor to ensure we are following the most up-to-date orders and care plan.
What are my payment options?
- QHS accepts personal checks, all major credit cards, and we also accept most home health insurance policies. Your patient care coordinator will explain the payment options to you and offer suggestions.
How do I go about activating and processing my insurance?
- A representative from our claims department will coordinate with your insurance company to activate your policy and process the necessary claim forms.
Do I have to pay out-of-pocket and then get reimbursed from my insurance company?
- QHS may accept an Assignment of Benefits from your insurance company. In this scenario, we will bill your insurance company and await payment.
Do you provide Worker’s Compensation Insurance?
- Yes all our caregivers are covered by Worker’s Compensation Insurance
Am I liable to your caregiver to provide Insurance?
- No, your caregiver works for Qualified Homecare Services. We provide Workman’s compensation Insurance, Liability Insurance, and bonding.
