How Do I Choose a Home Healthcare Provider?

In the sea of home healthcare providers, trying to find the best one for you is quite a daunting task.

Please read, Top 5 Mistakes People Make When Choosing a Home Healthcare Provider.

Step one, ask around.

Ask your trusted healthcare personnel (the nurse who discharged your loved one, the geriatric physician who’s working with your parent, the attorney in charge of your parent’s estate etc.).

Step two, interview your prospects.

In case you don’t know which questions to ask, we have come up with a great basic guide for you to use. Download it here. It has ten questions that you can ask and a handy chart in which you can record responses so that you can compare and contrast. Do the interview by phone, or check out their website for the information.

Step three, request a trial.

Not every provider will be able to do this; actually MOST don’t even have the option to try their services. But if they are so sure about the quality of what they provide, they should be confident that once you have tried their services, you will be impressed enough to want to stay, right?... If QHS is on your short list, go ahead and request a trial of our service; we are sure you will be pleased.

Step four, make your decision.

Once you have completed the above steps, you will have hopefully gotten all of the information that you need and be ready to make your decision.

But What If I Initially Went with Another Company and Realize I Should Have Gone with QHS? That’s okay. We are always here to welcome (back) anyone who realizes that they prefer to do business with a company that truly has their loved one’s best interest at heart. You’ll be happy you corrected your mistake (and your loved ones will be too).
